Along the Wasatch Front, Bountiful homes see high UV, canyon winds, winter freeze–thaw, and spring moisture. Alpine Exteriors LLC designs and installs exterior systems that thrive in these conditions—pairing climate-smart siding (fiber-cement, premium vinyl, and engineered wood) with best-practice weatherproofing and refined trim work. The result: quieter, tighter, longer-lasting exteriors that look incredible and protect home value.
A top performer across Northern Utah, fiber-cement resists fire, rot, insects, and warping while holding paint exceptionally well. Factory color finishes deliver excellent fade resistance in high UV and minimize maintenance. Styles include smooth modern lap for contemporary homes, wood-grain lap for classic appeal, and board-and-batten or staggered shakes to highlight gables and entries.
Best for: Long-term durability, premium curb appeal, low maintenance.
Today’s thicker-gauge vinyl resists chalking and deformation and now ships with advanced pigments that keep color truer, longer. Insulated vinyl adds R-value and reduces exterior noise—useful near thoroughfares. Choose from classic lap, vertical panels, or shake accents to match your architecture and budget.
Best for: Budget efficiency, quick installs, minimal upkeep.
Engineered wood combines the warmth of real timber with moisture-resistant binders and factory priming. Installed over a rainscreen, it performs for years with authentic texture—perfect for gables, feature walls, and mixed-material façades (e.g., stone + shake or metal + lap).
Best for: Mountain-modern palettes, accent flexibility, natural-look exteriors.
A beautiful façade is only as durable as the weatherproofing behind it. We build long-lasting walls with:
Combine horizontal lap on main fields with vertical board-and-batten or shake on gables to add depth and interest. Wider 5/4 trim sharpens edges and frames windows, while slim trim supports sleek contemporary lines. We provide mockups and full-size samples so you can preview before committing.
Bountiful’s sun favors mid-to-deep neutrals (charcoal, pewter, taupe, cedar tones) and desaturated blues/greens. Factory-finished color lines include fade-resistant coatings with strong warranties. We’ll place samples on your elevation to compare morning vs. late-day light.
Vented soffit improves attic airflow, metal fascia protects rafter tails, and seamless gutters manage runoff—reducing splashback, foundation moisture, and ice-dam risk. Clean roof-edge geometry dramatically improves perceived quality.
Pair new siding with insulated sheathing, balanced attic ventilation, and high-performance windows to reduce drafts and outdoor noise and stabilize indoor temperatures. Many Bountiful clients report lower energy use and quieter interiors after a proper envelope upgrade.
If a full replacement isn’t necessary, we perform targeted repairs—hail dings, wind-loosened panels, localized moisture issues—while matching profiles and colors. We document conditions for insurance and complete repairs to manufacturer standards to protect warranties. If a color is discontinued, we’ll propose the closest match and a transition strategy so the update looks intentional.
Actual costs vary by home size, details, and product line, but most Bountiful projects fall into these broad ranges:
We’ll bring samples, compare looks and budgets, and map a schedule that respects your time. Expect tidy work, consistent communication, and results that handle Bountiful’s toughest seasons.
Q1: Which siding handles Bountiful’s sun and winds best?
A: Fiber-cement and thicker-gauge, wind-rated vinyl excel when installed to spec with proper fasteners and starter systems. Engineered wood also performs well when rainscreened, flashed correctly, and finished per manufacturer guidelines. We’ll recommend the best fit after assessing exposure, style goals, and budget.
Q2: Can you blend new siding with existing areas for partial projects?
A: Often, yes. We source broad profile/color lines and create clean transitions. If a color is discontinued, we propose the closest match and an accent strategy so the change looks intentional and warranties remain intact.
Q3: How long does a typical Bountiful project take?
A: Most single-family homes complete in 7–14 working days, depending on scope, weather, and custom details (multiple gables, shake accents, metal trims). You’ll receive a day-by-day schedule and consistent status updates.
